Dr. Numbers holds a PsyD degree in Psychology in addition to a Masters Degree in Social Work, with concentrations in psychotherapy and counseling. She is licensed as a professional psychotherapist in North Carolina and New York and has worked in private practice since 1987.
Dr. Numbers also received her undergraduate and equivalent Masters Degree in Music. Following a successful career as a professional performing musician for 20 years, as well as a music teacher for 8 years, she elected to pursue her interests in psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality.
Her extensive clinical training as well as her own inner psychological work has led her down the path of her heart’s desire, which is to lead various workshops and seminars on loving the self. Dr. Numbers has presented these workshops throughout the country. Her first book, “The Dear One Letters: A Path to Growing as a Human and Evolving as a Soul,” was published in April of 2012. It is a spiritual and psychological book about remembering that you are a soul first and a human second, and how you can connect with the magnificent Light that you are.
