Kay graduated from Auburn University with a BA degree in Spanish and a Masters of Hispanic Studies. She married Davey Brown while at the university. After college they moved to Vidalia, Georgia, where she taught Spanish at the high school. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia. She played the piano, planned the socials, and substitute taught for her Sunday school class. Also while in Vidalia, she was a charter member of the Pilot club and was a member of the Vidalia Recreation Board. After she and her husband moved to Dublin, Georgia, she taught Spanish at Trinity Christian School. She became a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin and taught Sunday school classes there. She was a member of the Dublin Service League for ten years. She and Davey have a son, Lance Davey Brown, and a daughter, Dana Kay Davis. She has four grandsons and one granddaughter on the way.lihat lebih sedikit
