She is qualified in a number of alternative health
modalities and has an interest in the study of environmental pollution and its effects on human health, and especially birth defects in children. She spent a number of years writing articles to bring about public awareness of the harmful effects of agricultural chemicals, and campaigning for their safer use.
Her other passion is the plight of indigenous peoples, with the decline of their language, and the resultant loss of their cultural identity. She has a particular interest in the people of the Pacific region and the Pacific peoples who live in
NZ. She has lived in the Cook Islands and in Western Samoa.
Today she lives in Auckland with her daughter, and continues to write poetry and illustrate her stories for children.lihat lebih sedikit
