And that is, 'Bad Breath'.
Ever since, he would notice his friends and acquaintances turning their faces away or moving back while he was talking to them. And as a result of his bad breath, he no longer enjoys the company of his friends as much as before. Instead, he became extremely self-conscious – especially about how people reacted to him as he spoke during conversations.
Needless to say, he found himself struggling emotionally as his self-confidence and esteem take a nosedive.
Unwilling to give up his social life, he finally decided to take the driver's seat to cure his bad breath. This led to a series of expensive 'trial and error' before he finally stumbled upon the techniques which regained his fresh breath and his level of confidence.
Today, he is back to living his life without having to carry an arsenal of sprays, mints, and gums all the time.
