Joe and his son, Steven, were the team to beat throughout Steven’s Cub Scout years, winning many Pack and District Championships. Joe wrote Winning Pinewood Derby Secrets (after Steven advanced to Boy Scouts) to help others build fast pinewood derby cars. He also created over 20 pinewood derby car design plans to help people make really cool and hot cars.
