In 1992, he was a co-producer of three PBS Election Specials now available on DVD as “Road to the Presidency: Inside the Clinton Campaign.” His 1996 campaign reports were published as “STUMP, A Campaign Journal” and his 2004 coverage was released as “Talk’s Cheap, Let’s Race!”
Between elections, Jacobs is a producer for Bill Kurtis Productions. He has written for Slate, The Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Magazine.
