He has one daughter, Courtney, one son, Matthew, one grandson, Oliver, as well as Joy's five children, Carole, Ron and Don, Laurie and Jon. Between he and his wife Joy, they have fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He and Joy live on their certified wildlife habitat, with a rescue dog, six rescue cats, numerous chipmunks (which require frequent rescuing from cats), snakes and squirrels, flocks of birds, three raccoons, and three 'possums.
