I'm not ashamed to admit I use reading and writing as an escape from reality. The constant chaos moving around out there can't reach me when I'm immersed in books and writing.Although I’ve always felt partial to reading and writing horror I really wanted to give my drama, Even In Stillness There Is Rhythm a shot. It was an opportunity to really work on character development, which for me is the most important facet of a story. I really like my characters in that story. Especially Johnny. He was a labor of love. How could I write about a man who is kind and sensitive, yet still a strong masculine figure? I think I pulled it off okay.
