Florita holds both a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban and Regional Science and a Master of Urban Planning from Texas A&M University; and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Broadcasting/Cinema from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
She is the Creative Director of ARC Communications, LLC, an Art Communications and Edutainment Company formed along with her husband in 2010; the Producer of Little Flower Lyric4 Inspirational Rap Music for KIDS Recording Label, the Children of The World Story Book and Educational Series, and “The Little Flower Transmedia Collaborative,” which are scheduled to launch in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Florita Bell Griffin’s new book, “The Little Flower Vignettes – Story Behind the Story” was written to introduce the real life of “Little Flower” to parents, teachers, clergy, and adult audience in general. These historical episodes, which span more than 75 years before the modern Civil Rights movement in the United States began, from the backdrop for the fictionalized episodes Little Flower lives out in the pages of her upcoming Children of the World Storybook and Educational series.
Florita is a member of The Church Without Walls, in Houston Texas, where she serves in the Angel Tree Ministry.
