As a youth, he spent nine years in the Jesuit academies of Campion and St. Georges College, before he moved to England to pursue his professional studies. He became the youngest partner in an international firm of Chartered Accountants on his return to the island, where he and his Swedish wife remained for twelve years, and where their four children were born. Today the extended family live in Canada. Over the decades, Sale’s writings on professional, economic, and political issues have been published in newspapers and financial journals in several countries.
