At school, he wrote essays. At university, his quest brought him to the magic of poetry. He studied literature for three years under Professor T.T. Cloete, prominent critique and South Africa’s most renowned, living, Afrikaans poet.
It took him through relationships and heartbreak disappointments, and a marriage of 25 years. The divorce left him emotionally ravaged, but with four magnificent sons.
His discontent showed in endeavours from assurance sales man, journalist, lecturer and businessperson, to private inventor, artist and writer.
Through the marvel The Internet, he ultimately found his Alice. They now live happily in their wonderland in Bloemfontein, on their idyllic smallholding built up over 25 years, called Alicestate.lihat lebih sedikit
