Lane lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband Kenneth, their dog Prancer, and cats Muffy and Abby. She attended Penn State University for finance, and Writers Institute for journalism. Most of her life was spent working in financial accounting and purchasing, but she is now doing what she loves…writing. She has had poetry published in Seacoast Life Magazine, Wide Open Magazine, and many poems published in the Writers Institute newsletter. She has combined her love of writing and sci-fi to focus on children’s novels. The combination of fiction with fact, and mystery with adventure, makes her books interesting. Although she always enjoyed reading about the aliens in classic science fiction stories while growing up, she loves writing about them even more. Sky-gazing has been a hobby for the past several years. It was a blend of all these elements that prompted her to write her books, “Lill and
Mewe and the Secrets of Mars” and “Lill and Mewe Journey to the Ocean of Runa.” She is currently finishing her third book in her five-book Lill and Mewe series. All of her books are sure to inspire, delight, and teach kids ages 8 to 12 (as well as adults) a little something about math and science. Jean loves sky-gazing, travel, movies, writing, and a good mocha latte.lihat lebih sedikit
