felt because of my upbringing in a run-down housing project in Lowell, Massachusetts, led me to a life of drug and alcohol addiction that nearly killed me.
What saved me was my deep commitment to seek justice against all odds.
As I sit down to write this book, I am proud to say that I have been clean and sober since 1988. I have prevailed against my father and his family, at
