She moved to the west side of Chicago in 1955. Ida attended Malcolm X College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roosevelt University in 1981. She got her degree while raising her family of six children. She has a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ida is a member of Christian Love Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Steve Nelson, Pastor. Words of Wisdom is Ida's first book of poetry.lihat lebih sedikit
