Dragos holds a Ph.D. Magna Cum Laude from the Center for Sensor Systems in Germany. He received several international awards for his research and innovations in satellite-based intelligence. His software prototype won the grand award in the U.S. in a major global competition with 500+ submissions.He started from a humble beginning in Eastern Europe where he lived as a student with $100 a month for five years. Today he travels the world and empowers thousands of people to make their dreams a reality even if they start with almost nothing. At 24 years old and fresh out of university, Dragos started from nothing, organized and traveled alone on two expeditions to the North and the South Pole.At 25 he was selected the engineer and journalist of the first Romanian Simulation mission to Mars, at Mars Desert Research Station in Utah. This mission, organized in partnership with NASA, paves the way for future manned missions to the Red Planet. With these expeditions, Dragos has been featured twice in National GeographicIn the summer of 2015, Google and Singularity University selected a few people from around the world to be part of an entrepreneurial venture at NASA AMES in Silicon Valley. The program brought together future leaders and entrepreneurs to create technology solutions that solve major global problems. The group of 80 participants selected from > 4000 applicants represented 45 countries. Forbes Magazine later named this group “some of the smartest people in the world”. Dragos was one of them and received an important financial grant from Google for this program.SPEAKINGAs a speaker, Dr. Dragos has been on stage on 5 continents (including Antarctica) and keeps going around the world with his program THE PURSUIT OF DREAMS.Being a member of Dr. Charles Pellerin’s global team of consultants (Charlie is a NASA legend who built Hubble Space Telescope, the most famous telescope in history), Dragos speaks worldwide about the invisible mental and social factors that drive our success. Dr. Dragos has been on a panel at the Business Leaders Summit in Sri Lanka with R. Gopalakrishnan, the general director of Tata & Sons; had successful events with Gregg Braden and Steve Vai in the U.S and sold-out events in Europe. In 2015, at 31 years old, Dragos toured the United States, Europe and Japan with keynotes, workshops and movie screenings.
