When my children wer...lihat lebih banyakI started writing as a hobby over twenty years ago, to alleviate the boredom I felt on the night shift at my previous job. I wrote mostly to amuse myself, and largely still do. When my children were born, I started making up bedtime stories for them. They were a tough audience, so I constantly strived to amuse them and keep their interest. Most of the time when I'm writing, ideas come to me after I have already started writing, and the books kind of write themselves. I usually try out my new material on my older kids, to see if I get a chuckle, and know that I got it right. I am now retired from my career of twenty seven years, and am able to dedicate more time to writing.
My hobbies include woodworking, music (I play the saxophone and guitar), and leatherwork, when I'm not writing. If you are interested in woodwork, I have posted photos of my work at www.luckyduckartistry.comlihat lebih sedikit
