The world of Grenamoya Island was in planning before she entered secondary school. She wrote the original manuscript for her first novel, "Out of Ashes", during her AS- and A-level studies. During her early years at Queen's University, Belfast, "Out of Ashes" received recognition from the Undiscovered Authors website and a shortlisting for Welsh fiction in a nationwide book competition.Amy's goal has always been to write six books in her original series, "The Grenamoya Island Saga", with further stand-alone novels set in the same universe she has lovingly created. Her stories are accompanied by colourful illustrations, which bring her original and unusual creatures to life.
