I came to Spain on an internship programme, then started in an office job and now Im running a business.Therefore, I have lived diverse experiences on a student budget, on an employee payroll and now running my business. Madrid is continually becoming a cosmopolitan city and attracts from students on a gap year to tourists who are travelling around. The best thing about the city is its people and lively atmosphere.It is a city no one ever gets tired of. About 5 years ago, I started a blog aptly named cheapinmadrid, where I wanted to share the tips and information about enjoying most of what the city has to offer on budget. The blog has since caught attention of many media including Spanish newspapers, American digital travel sites and a Belgian TV programme as a useful and informative source.
