I was born and raised here. I got my love for poetry/rhyme from rereading Dr. Seuss books while waiting for siblings at doctor's office as a child.
I have three siblings. Two proud Moms - one biological one step. My loving dad passed away before I started my professional writing career. I had put it off after his passing - but now, I have gotten back into it. I wish he had got to see my books before he died. He didn't. (This is what made me stop persuing my writing career and a published book.)
