A voracious reader as a child, she could always be found at the library or a nearby lake reading a book. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University of Minnesota in the field of psychology with a minor in criminal justice. She worked many years in a drug offender’s early release program and then worked as an in-home counselor for people with serious and long-term mental illnesses as well as teaching cognitive restructuring classes in the partial hospitalization unit.She is the author of the Valenti series novels.
