James Howard Wellard (1 January 1909 - 26 April 1987) was an English author of over 30 books on a diverse range of subjects, including The Great Sahara (1964), By the Waters of Babylon (1973), The ...lihat lebih banyakJames Howard Wellard (1 January 1909 - 26 April 1987) was an English author of over 30 books on a diverse range of subjects, including The Great Sahara (1964), By the Waters of Babylon (1973), The French Foreign Legion (1974), and The Search for Lost Worlds: An Exploration of the Lands of Myth and Legend, including Atlantis, Sheba, and Avalon (1975). He was born in Horselydown, London, the third of four children, to James Hitchin Wellard and Frances Alice Massey. He married Florence Elizabeth Louise Beedle (1910-1968) in Eltham, Kent in 1939. The couple had two children together. Wellard passed away in Camden, London in 1987 at the age of 78.lihat lebih sedikit
