After a difficult upbringing in a broken home, he, his mother, and his brother moved to western Minnesota to start a new life at the tender age of eight. While growing up in a MN/ND border town, he would travel back to Florida to visit his father and step mother for four months a year. The years were filled with dysfunction and another divorce that he had to eventually succumb to.
It was those years and the turbulent 20's that made him the man he is today.
