Currently, I am a fulltime Soldier in the U.S. Army. I love my job and I love serving my country. I love to travel and experience other cultures and my service has helped afford me some amazing, once in a lifetime, travel opportunities. My main hobbies are creative writing, laughing, running, gardening, being outdoors, traveling, and visiting antiques stores. I love books, though I don’t have a favorite. There are just too many I love to choose from. However, now that I say that a flood of titles enter into my head. Upon reflection, they did so because they made me feel great emotion. Don Quixote made me laugh out loud to the point where people thought I was certifiable I am sure. The Shack by William P. Young made me feel sadness, joy, relief and spiritually touched. The Giver by Lois Lowry was just simply brilliant and smart and made me think. And A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, a book that made me mad and frustrated and shocked and heartbroken. Hmmm... maybe I do have some favorites, but I cannot say for sure. There are some many more wonderful books out there. Sigh!Since I am a fulltime Soldier I do my best to balance my life and my hobbies. I don’t write every day, but I do brainstorm daily about what I am writing. I am currently working on my second book. Because my time is so divided, writing is not a quick process for me. I just do my best to keep going and make lots of notes when ideas pop into my head. I do a lot of brain storming while driving. I keep a journal in my car so I can pen down ideas while at red traffic lights. Another source of ideas comes from my dreams and personal experiences. It’s fun to incorporated them into a story and have them actually make sense.I am known for my laugh. It is loud and infectious. I have only met two people who hated it. What did I do when I learned this from them? I laughed in their face. LOL! It was my way of saying, get a grip. The world needs to be filled with more laughter.I will end with that.lihat lebih sedikit
