A business administration graduate of Hamline University and of the Army Intelligence School, he formed five entrepreneurial companies during his career and is on a first name basis with "risk." His non-writing interests include world travel, golf, keeping track of grandkids, hiking, entertaining (and being entertained), thinking about maybe exercising some day and completing honey-do lists for Mary Sue (MS).
