While attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, I studied acting and direction. I worked Off Off Broadway. Because my body needed food to survive, I moved back to La Crosse, WI. I met my wife in college. We married two years later.
I have been doing theatre as a hobby since I moved back from New York City. Between jobs, raising and supporting a family, I have found time to write. I thank my wife for allowing me to ignore her as I write. My first draft had a public reading in 1990 at The La Crosse Community Theatre. This helped me with direction. I got to video tape it and learned so much from doing that. Although a play may never be finished, I have found myself at rest with this script. I had to shelf it and just accept, that for now, the script is complete. I consider this work a success. I completed a full-length play.
This script is really about how much we need God, family and faith in humanity.
