He was raised as a strict Jain right from the start. He educated himself to achieve a Masters in Arts and has been awarded a PhD in Philosophy.
After the various up and downs in his life, he decided to retire. With all the spare time now made available to him, he decided to go back to the roots of his religion. He achieved his PhD by choosing to illustrate the welfare aspect in Economics and the welfare aspect in Jaina religion.
He has looked up to Dr. Amartya Sen as his mentor and has taken his points of view into consideration throughout the book.lihat lebih sedikit
