where she graduated magna cum laude. Carol began writing poetry at an early age, and many of her poems have been read in the central Arkansas area, as
well as being published online and in print.
Carol's first book, "Reflections of a life well spent" was an autobiography and many of the poems were intensely personal. "More than a Memory"
reaches out to include poems about nature, the human condition, and of course includes some memories of growing up in the South.
Much of Carol's poetry is about the commonplace in life, but she wants you to know that you are not common, but that you have a special place in this
world. Carol encourages you to write down your life's story, if not in poetry, then in prose, because everyone has a story to tell, and people who
