The Blood of Lambs. I married a Catholic lady and converted in 1948. I have studied the history of the Church since then. I have written four books and my protagonists are Catholic. Write about what you know. My third book was a fantasy and my last book is a Western, A Good Man? is my second book I wish to have published now. As soon as these two are published I will have the other two published as well. I was draafted in WWII in 1943. I was an enlisted man for two years and was shipped to Europe in Sept. 1944. In Jan. 1945 I volunteered to go to Infantry OCS at Fontainbleau, France. Two months later I was a 56 day wonder and was commissioned a Second Lt. In Dec. 1945 I was shipped to Berlin. Soon aferwards I was made a Company Commander and later was assigned as Battalion S-3. I was promoted to First Lt in July 1946. I met a lady working for the State Dept. and we were married by the German mayor and the next day we were married by the Army Catholic Priest. Five months later we lost identical twin boys at four months and rotated to the USA. I took ski training in Camp Hale, Colorado and we lost another son at six months. I accepted a dischrge because of my wife's health. Three years later I was recalled to go to Korea. I was a Platoon Leater and was awarded two bronze stars for valor. I was promoted to Company when we we on Koje Do the POW Camps. Gen. Dodd was captured by the Reds in the compounds and we had quite a battle. I was later assigned as Bn. S-3. When I came home I worked my up the ladder to Asst. Vice President. I was later the President of a Corp. and also the Comptrolor of three corporations. My wife died at age 49 from a heart attack. We had five girls and one boy, and now have 31 grandchildren and great grandchildren. I remarried and after twenty years she also passed on. I had bi-pass surgery four years ago and my aorta ruptured and it took them fifty hours to sew me back together. I live in a retirement community and I write about four hours a day. My stepdaughter cares for me and maintains me and the house. It had been a good life. And how about you?lihat lebih sedikit
