According to Dr. Moore, “As true Christians, we must understand, practice and teach the full counsel of God. This involves the commitment/ allegiance, knowledge/experience and power dimensions of Christianity. The same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is the same spirit that lives in us. Therefore, we as Christians have access to the resources (power) of heaven. We are so engaged in worldly activities and distractions, we have lost the ability to stay focused on God and his will. Because of this our ability to access heavenly resources is made difficult if not impossible when we need them. This is one of the strategies that the enemy of our soul (Satan) uses in the spiritual war".
Dr. Moore goes on to say, “I find it interesting when Christians panic and cry out to God for help as though God does not know their situation. As soon as a little trouble or a difficult situation arises, Christians panic as much as Non-Christians. Christian leaders and teachers should always teach and reinforce the knowledge of the power dimension of Christianity. This is the task of reminding people that God has given us his spirit (The same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead) to deal with any situation. We cry out to God to look or come down from heaven to deal with our troubles not realizing that he is right here with us. Do we as Christians not take God at his word when he says “lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world"? (Matthew 28:20)
