A worthy goal for children of all ages is to develop competence, resilience, and confidence. This book supports the development of all three. Kids practice a simple formula to become competent in handling bullies. Learning resilience by "bouncing back" when other kids push sensitive emotional buttons or triggers is part of the practice, and confidence is forthcoming as the reader meets with success. Much of the information in the book was learned by observing kids who successfully coped with bullying and from practicing skills with children who were being bullied.
Marcia lives in Evansville, Indiana, with her husband of many years. Their three sons helped her develop the formula for kids to use to stop bullying.
