It wasn’t until during retirement that he began to spend time in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky (Shakertown) where his love for the culture and people grew. As most people do during retirement; he began to reminisce of his tenure of raising four giggling, beautiful daughters where the word “romance” was often the topic of conversations in his home. There he began to put both loves on paper.
