Dr. Hatherley has a PhD in psychology. He has studied Western literature, history, religion, and philosophy. He has also explored Eastern thought, as represented by Chinese Taoism, Indian Buddhism, and Japanese Zen.
In addition, for over twenty years, Dr. Hatherley practiced psychotherapy, and for the past ten years has offered education in mental and emotional development. Throughout his career, Dr. Hatherley has been exploring one key question: “What, if anything, is necessary to make human life internally satisfying and meaningful?”
Happily, the answer to this question is provided by learning how to express love, pursue truth, experience beauty, and develop wisdom. Eventually, every real experience of lasting value and internal meaning can be traced back to these four activities.
Dr. Hatherley currently resides in La Jolla, California, where he offers weekend workshops, month-long classes, and individual consultations to help people become internally fulfilled as individuals, as well as satisfying mates, competent parents, and real friends.lihat lebih sedikit
