Currently, I am working as a Home Health aide for a local agency in Dallas, Texas. As an aspiring writer I have dreamed of publishing a book. I remember at the young age of fifteen years old; I composed poetry for friends and family. In my high school years I received awards for my submissions to my school and local newspapers. A few years later, I continued my education and I earned an Associate’s degree in Child Development and a certificate in Daycare Administration. Presently, I am taking online courses in the field of Health Information Technology. My dream is to enter a bookstore such as Barnes and Nobles and see my book sitting on the bookshelves.
At this time, I am working on some new book ideas. But my ultimate goal is to have my own internet publishing company. In my leisure time I enjoy cooking, reading and writing. My biggest job is being a caregiver to my mother, which is a big responsibility. I hope that my book will inspire anyone who has a desire to fulfill a life- long dream.
