In his youthful years, he joined revolutionary groups and met Fidel Castro. Later, when Castro was dictator of Cuba, Garcia was sent to jail. He was able to escape to the United States. There, he joined a group of men who tried to liberate Cuba of Castro’s communism. They arrived at the Bay of Pigs, Cuba, but their attempt to invade Cuba failed. He was sent to jail once more. But at that moment, something incredible happened. Garcia had access to a New Testament, and for the first time he learns about to the one and only God and his son, Jesus Christ, and accepted Him as his only Savior. His life changed immediately. Sometime later in the United States, President Kennedy paid Castro a ransom to free all prisoners from the invasion of the Bay of Pigs. Already in the land of liberty, Oscar Garcia became a Christian pastor. Since then, Pastor Garcia has been member of the true army, the army of God, testifying in churches and civic groups in many countries in the United States and Latin America and gaining lives for Christ.
