My life is all about the children; teaching as well as playing with them.
I went to a food program class, sponsored by our local extension office, and received some free stuff that pertained to fruits and vegetables. I played bingo games with food pictures, read food books, and played with the beanie characters that were fruits and vegetables. I was surprised when the older children, 6-10 did not know that a potato was a vegetable, etc...
So I thought I would write this book to help educate children and adults on 5 fun facts for each letter of the alphabet. I included:
FRUIT/VEGETABLE-HOW THEY GROW-WHERE THEY GROW-HOW TO EAT-NUTRITION FACTS
