He has worked as Director of Human Resources in hospitals and other healthcare
settings for ten years. In addition, he has taught business, human resources and
general curriculum courses at various universities for twelve years.
Currently, he is an adjunct faculty member at Concord University’s School of Business. He has
been married to Amy Hess for twelve years, (who is studying to be an elementary
school teacher.) They have two sons, Hayduke and Jude, who are ten and nine years old. Matt
