He currently is an aircraft accident consultant for light general aviation aircraft and helicopters. He owns and flys a Cessna 182 which is hangared in Monterey, California. Ren received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and a Master of Science in Business from Boston University. After retirement from the Army, he and his wife established and operated an import and retail business for 12 years traveling throughout Asia to find art and home furnishings for their three stores in California.
