At the age of 10, I won the Conde...lihat lebih banyakI was born in 1986 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and grew up on the island of Montserrat until the age of 18. I realized that I enjoyed creative writing at a young age. At the age of 10, I won the Conde" Naste essay competition on tourism competition in Montserrat in 1997. Later on I took an interest in writing song lyrics and have been doing so for a few years. At 15, I wrote my first poem as a joke - it was a test between a few friends and myself about who can have the best ‘lyrics’ to impress a girl. After that challenge, poetry stuck with me. I took a peculiar interest in word play and trying my utmost best to paint pictures with them. An art form that I have heard being done by many.
After moving to England to continue my studies, I also kept my love of music and poetry. Over the years I have worked to refine my skills through writing and pushing my imagination to its limits. It’s one of the things that I really do have a passion for......writing. I have read my poetry to friends and they’ve enjoyed my work and I enjoy bringing this feeling to as many people as possible. The basis of my writing lays in my ability to explore a variety of experiences - both personal and vicarious and be able to put into words what others can't.
