This is a collection of poems I've written in the last 7 years that I've managed to save. I figured that it would be nothing if I didn't have anyone to share it with. Life is nothing without people showing themselves. My name will blow through the wind. Chelsea Brooke Peterson-Lofton. I am 24 years old and married to the love of my life. My husband Javonte, has helped encourage me to put my poetry out in the open. I love my relationship with him because we can talk about anything. We have so much fun together and we have a bond that no one can even come close to breaking. No one knows me like he does, I love knowing he's irreplaceable but sometimes it's scary to think of what I would do without him. I love him with everything I have and I'm so proud of him for all the tough decisons we've had to make. I am in the Army Reserve and belong to the 428th Military Police Company. I served in Iraq in 2008/09 and now I'm serving in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as of 2012/13. I love who I am and love the people in my life that have helped me grow and see the world as good always outweighing the bad. I was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and have a family that supports me more than I could ever ask for. I have friends I wouldn't trade for the world and I'm happy to know they accept me for who I really am. I've done a little college and graduated a police academy in May of 2012. I believe that without love, there is no life. I just want people to know that I care, sometimes people think I shouldn't, but I do. I've always wanted to help people and I've always loved kids. I'm hoping to start a family pretty soon. I am 100% a daddy's girl. I'm very close to my dad. He has been the number one person I've looked up to my whole life. I go to my dad for every kind of advice there is. My sister and I are blessed to have a father like him. My mom is goodhearted to, it runs in the family. She gets it from my grandma, and she gets it from my great grandma. They have done so much for me in my life and continue to stay strong through all life's hardships. My grandma is very special to me. I miss my Aunt Laura and Grandpa, Glen very much, God bless their hearts. My sister still continues to amaze me with everything she has accomplished even through stress and pregnancy. She is an awesome mom and I'm so proud to become an Aunt !If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am very intense, passionate, determined, goodhearted, emotional, honest, affectionate, loving, creative, fun, random, reliable, sexy, beautiful, responsible, loyal, artistic, romantic, cute, positive, fun, sweet, and interesting. I love my two cats, Pices Jutsu, and Mars Juniper. I take them for walks when its nice out in their cat stroller from PETCO. I'm a bit goofy but fun to be around. The people in my life mean the most to me and I hope that I can inspire and be as fortunate as I have been so far. Life is an open book, you can leave out the pages you want. It's important to embrace the life we know and take the chances to change it for the better.lihat lebih sedikit
