He entered The Hartford Police Department in 1970 as a Patrolman. He was promoted to the rank of Detective in 1978 and assigned to The Crime Scene Unit.
Two years later he was assigned to The Vice & Narcotics Division.
He has received several citations during his career, including The Distinguished Service Medal and The Medal of Valor.
