All of a sudden I knew that the work I do is what I wanted to write about; to help those entering The Youth Care Industry with insight before they begin their rewarding career. My work is so very important to not only me but those I care for, as this industry is very rewarding.
I am now 55 years old and I believe that I found my niche in life caring for youth with issues and that my life skills have enhanced my academic skills in this industry.
I thank all of the team that I work with, as they are all great people and also a special thanks to the youth I have worked with in the past to the present – you are all very special people.
All I can say to those that read this book, written in dedication to the youth I have and am caring for, is to focus on helping these children strive towards a healthy, fulfilled, happy and independent life. Work together as a team and treasure the precious moments. You will have some tough times, but we all know you need to go through the tough to get to the good…Life wasn’t meant to be easy.
