The thing is with poems for me is, they seem to come through me. I want for a topic and it comes.
I have never really thought about publishing a book before my son Elkara was born. The aunties held a Blessing way before he was born to welcome him.
I was asked to write some poems, as my poems were regularly being narrated by friends at different functions (Birthdays and Weddings ect) for close friends. At the Blessing way I wrote 6 poems that were presented to the audience being read by friends.
Credited with 3 trade certificates. Glazier, Horticulturist and IT. 5 years as a Sound man up until April 2012, I toured around Australia and parts of the world as a kind of DJ cross Camera Man. So at 41 I have gained quite a lot of experience to write my poems about and to share.
My company is “Sounds of Awareness” and I am known for my Remembrance packages. I film people though out their lives to play for their children or at particular times in their lives for them to be remembered the way they choose to be remembered.
