He created his main character, Isgett, when he was stationed in Fort Worth, Texas while doodling in his apartment. This is the first book he has written and illustrated, but he has spent many years free-lancing his artwork and writing stories, earning him many awards in the military. He is a true craftsman that doesn’t know how to fail at anything he sets his mind to, a trait encouraged by his parents, Gloria and Loye Sr. He is a father of three and a grandfather to many.
