In 2016 he founded the medieval showman group "Die Schattenwache". Through the world of the Middle Ages he discovered the ocarina and became hooked with it and medieval music. As there were almost no suitable notes for the ocarina, he learned to arrange the notes to be able to play them.
With his books he pursues two big goals:
- To make traditional music playable for the ocarina.
