She has been in private practice as a counselor since 1994, focusing on loss and grief, life transitions, and spirituality. In her twenty-six-year faculty role at Antioch University Seattle, she taught courses on loss and grief, personality theory, developmental psychology, and the interplay of psychology and spirituality. She also coordinated a non-clinical master’s degree program in psychology and spirituality.
