She has been fascinated by language since she was a child, amazed that otherwise arbitrary sounds and symbols could be construed into meaning. From then onward she has been a devout linguistics nerd with writing being the main outlet of her admiration for language. She currently lives on the outskirts of Bloomington, Indiana with her husband and two adorable Maine Coon-mix cats.
