When I graduated from ...lihat lebih banyakI was born Harold Christopher Kercher (‘Kitt’) in Tillamook, Oregon on the Pacific Coast in 1948. My father had returned from the war in 1946, so that makes me a Baby Boomer. When I graduated from high school in 1967, I was, as it was with most of the males in my class, faced with three life choices available for the area I lived; join the military, sign on a logging crew or as a deck hand on a fishing boat in Alaska. I opted to join the army, and with the help of the G.I. Bill, I accumulated three college degrees over my lifetime.
After retiring from thirty years of government service and then from an occupation designing and building seats for airplanes, I decided to try and fulfill an old desire of writing. This book is my first attempt, though I have written two other books (unpublished) and a few game rule books. All my life I have been an avid gamer, designing games and using my computer programming skills to aid in the task. As such, all the games I’ve played, designed and now written about, plays strongly in the world of evil fantasy In my book. I am writing a sequel to The Jeweler of Sweetwater and have outlined a third book. Hopefully the sequel (The Sweetwater Witch) will be ready by the start of 2020.
At present, I live with Linda, my lovely wife of fifty-one years, two sons, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, two dogs and a cat in the Coast Range in the state of Oregon, about an hour drive from where I was born. I guess I’ve almost come full circle.lihat lebih sedikit
