There he spent his formative years until going on a hitchhiking trip to Germany, where he has since been living for over 40 years. Very interested in music, but without a strong sense of rhythm, it was a pleasant surprise when his son Daniel turned out to be a gifted drummer at quite a young age.
Wakeford works in advertising photography and has had several exhibitions over the years, now using the added free time that comes with a certain age to write. He has long enjoyed a flirtation with writing and music, providing German and French musicians and bands with lyrics for their compositions back in the day.
