A Floridian by birth, a free spirit at heart, Ruth resides once again in her home state in retirement. She has been writing poetry for many years, and her work has been used in several small press publications, Quilt World magazine, Poetry Canada, and in anthologies of the International Library of Poetry. Ruth most enjoys rhyming poetry, but occasionally writes a fee Haiku and free verse lines. Her work is often spiritual, romantic, or occasionally amusing. Ruth enjoys quilting with her friends, family get-togethers and attending the First Christian Church of Chiefland, Florida. In January 2005 Ruth self-published her first book of Christian poetry and a bit of a memoir in “A Pure and Simple Faith.” In 2006 Ruth and her family self-published a family anthology using their combined talents in “Family Matters” followed by “Family Matters II”. In the years following, 15 other books of poetry and a few children’s stories have joined her first books and all are available on Amazon.com, self-published through Kindle Direct Publishing.lihat lebih sedikit
