My resume is long and unruly and describes the life of an idealist and traveler with many interests. Inspired by social justice movements, for two plus decades I consulted, volunteered and advocated with non-profits, unions, and individuals mostly in the US and southern Africa.In 2001 I fell in love with Buddhism and meditation following my first silent ten day retreat, and worked for nearly a decade as a Retreat Manager at Spirit Rock, a pivotal insight meditation center in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also trained to teach MBSR and Qigong.Since seeing An Inconvenient Truth in 2006, I have dedicated most of my volunteer and activist energies to the climate crisis. In 2016 I self-published the book One Small Difference: Step into Action for a Better World; I also offer "One Small Difference" and "One Small Planet" themed workshops through my website, placeforpeace.org.I am based in Woodacre, California, not far from San Francisco.lihat lebih sedikit
